Summerfield Healthcare is delighted to announce the expansion of our healthcare service by gaining recognition from BUPA to provide insurance-covered medical services.
The insurance option is now available for our Orthopaedic Hand Surgery service, provided through renowned consultant hand and upper limb specialist Mr Piers Moreau, a highly-accomplished surgeon who is already well known in the area for his work at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital in Oswestry and at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
Although initial registration is for Orthopaedic Hand Surgery, now that recognition is already obtained by BUPA we are already in the process of expanding our insurance offering across the remainder of our appropriate services.
Identifying and filling a need
Providing medical services that are covered by insurance is a tremendous step forward. At Summerfield Healthcare, despite the positives that we are able to see patients and provide a remedy very quickly, we also understand that paying out of your own pocket for a surgery can sometimes block someone seeking the medical intervention that they desperately need. This is why we are looking at payment options.
In the case of Orthopaedic Hand Surgery, this move now makes it far more accessible for a patients with insurance to the receive quality private orthopaedic healthcare without the wait.
Orthopaedic Hand Surgery provides remedy for conditions such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Trigger Finger, Ganglion Cysts & Dupuytren’s Contractures.
