Prostate cancer is, unfortunately, a condition that has affected all too many men around the world, as well as their families and loved ones.
PSA is a protein produced by both normal and cancerous prostate cells. It is normal for all men to have some PSA in their blood, but a high level of PSA can be a sign of cancer. Although it is indicative, a high PSA can also be because of other conditions that aren’t cancer, or due to infection. Given the what is at stake, we strongly recommend that you be proactive about your healthcare and undertake periodic blood tests and regular prostate checks. Prevention is better than cure.
