If you feel that something is wrong, with you or a member of the family, we understand the need to see a GP as soon as you can and find a solution to the problem – or a swift way forward to further treatment if time is of the essence.
We aim to give the patient-doctor relationship the time it deserves as we believe understanding what the symptoms are and hearing what you are experiencing, is part of the route to a correct diagnosis.
A private consultation with one of Summerfield Healthcare’s GPs will provide you with a relaxed appointment to discuss your concerns and where necessary we can offer you fast-track referrals and private prescriptions.
Have you ever queried your GP’s decision not to investigate further? If you feel that your doctor has missed something it can be extremely worrying; that all-important second opinion could reassure you, find something your own GP has missed, or even save your life.
Now more than ever NHS GPs are stretched with their time, meaning your appointments with your family GP are rushed and you will often find yourself coming away with more questions than answers. Our minimum appointment time of 15 minutes allows more time to get to the bottom of the problem.
We also offer double appointments, extending your time with the GP to 30 minutes to allow you to say all you need to say and discuss potential solutions.
Summerfield Healthcare’s medical reception team are specially trained to deal with all enquiries in a professional, prompt & private manner. Do get in touch with us today if you are looking to see a GP, or would like a private GP appointment for a child.
Initial consultations fees are £59 for a 15-minute appointment with a GP, fast-track referrals and private prescriptions.
If you would prefer to have a longer amount of time with the GP extended 30-minute consultations are available for £89, also with fast-track referrals and private prescriptions.
No private medical insurance is needed to book an appointment at Summerfield Healthcare as we accept self-funding patients on a pay as you go basis.
We appreciate that if you want to be seen quickly, you do not want to be kept waiting with lengthy insurance and sign-up processes which is why we simply take your details and book you in for your GP consultation.
Although Summerfield Healthcare is a private practice our fees are low cost and structured with you in mind. Initial consultation fees are listed below:

Due to the recently announced lockdown in England, Summerfield Healthcare is currently only able to offer a limited number of clinical services including:
For some services we continue to offer such as health checks and minor surgery we are now providing COVID-19 testing for all patients and Doctors. This is mandatory due to the proximity of the practitioner, the duration of the appointment and multiple clinicians also being involved in your treatment. An additional £10 will be included in the appointment fee at the point of payment to cover the cost of COVID testing, and your booking confirmation will reflect this requirement. This is not required for blood testing due to the short duration of appointments and reduced risk of exposure.
If you cannot find the service you are looking for or it is not available to book due to the lockdown, please enter your details below and the service you require and we will contact you when the service resumes. Please remember that all COVID testing services are continuing during lockdown.
