Male Patient Being Reassured By Doctor In Hospital Room

November may signal a second lockdown for England – but it is also Movember, an annual event to raise awareness of men’s health issues.

The campaign involves the growing of moustaches during the month of November to highlight men’s health problems, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.

Free consultations at Summerfield Healthcare

2020 has hit men’s health hard, which is why we are holding free 15-minute consultations at our clinics.

We want men to feel confident to attend our free clinics, which are all Covid-secure, and to make sure they take the time to keep on top of their health.

Now, more than ever, it is important to keep using health services and don’t let any niggling worries become a bigger issue down the line.

The clinics will be held on November 9 and 16 at our Wolverhampton site with our male GP Dr Vivake Roddah.

We encourage men to book an appointment and to have their testicles checked during their consultation for peace of mind. We also encourage men to sit and talk about any concerns or worries they may have.

While we don’t offer treatment during the consultations, referrals can be made if necessary. This could be for further investigations, including blood tests or scans.
