We are proud of our team at Summerfield Healthcare – a team of experts committed to providing the best care for our patients.
Medical concerns can be distressing and it’s important to provide reassurance as well as prompt and effective treatments. This is helped by knowing the healthcare professional who will be looking after you – which is why we would like to introduce you to our team of GPs.
Dr Vivake Roddah
Dr Roddah completed his GP training in the Oxford Deanery, has worked with patients from many different backgrounds and has professional interests in dermatology, occupational medicine and minor surgery.
He is also our Medical Director and committed to making primary care services accessible to all patients without lengthy waits. He is based in the West Midlands but also works in Milton Keynes and has additional experience in the fields of practical dermoscopy, skin excision procedures and joint injections.
Dr Mandeep Gill
Dr Gill enjoys the extra time private general practice allows for spending with patients, seeing it as an important aid to providing the best patient care. She has a particular interest in women’s health, has a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive Health, and is a qualified contraceptive fitter and remover.
Dr Gill has experience in a wide range of medical presentations and provides a holistic approach to patients, having worked in a number of GP surgeries with different population groups.
Dr Sundeep Sidhu
Dr Sidhu also trained in the Oxford Deanery and previously worked in GP surgeries in Oxford. She has been a practising GP for 10 years and has an interest in women’s health.
She deals with a wide range of female health issues on a daily basis, having built up a great deal of experience in the field. Dr Sidhu has attended a rotation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital and obtained a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Dr Shatha Janabi
Dr Janabi is the latest addition to the Summerfield Healthcare GP team and has a great deal of experience – specialising in family medicine for eight years and as a consultant in clinical genetics for 15 years.
Since 2013, Dr Janabi has worked as a GP in the private sector in Birmingham and also as a GP within the NHS (Carlisle and East London Foundation Trust). She has also worked as a consultant in clinical genetics at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and provided clinical genetics clinics in Sandwell Hospital, Coventry, Tamworth and Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley.
