Private Minor Surgery

Our experienced surgeons offer private minor surgery at an affordable rate and without the long wait associated with being referred to a Consultant surgeon through the NHS.

Many of our procedures allow you to see immediate results and we don’t require a referral for you to see us. We can offer an efficient and convenient service to help you see the results you want in the shortest amount of time.

A lot of minor surgeries – especially skin surgeries – are considered to be ‘Procedures of Limited Clinical Value’ and this makes them difficult to access through the NHS. As a private practice, Summerfield Healthcare can offer you these surgeries with expert surgeons. Our team of clinicians and surgeons are some of the best in their field and will ensure the highest level of care from enquiry through to recovery.

We recognise that skin conditions can often be unsightly, a nuisance, and have a negative effect on mental health. We take every case seriously and know that a simple minor surgery could make a huge difference to your life.

We can offer on-site initial consultations followed by a fast-track referral to our minor surgery clinic and a team of specialist consultants and after-care appointments.

We offer minor surgery in our modern and comfortable clinics.

We offer on-site minor cosmetic surgeries including:

We also offer private vasectomy services.

Skin Tag Removal

Skin Tags are small, soft, skin-coloured growths that hang off the skin and look similar to warts. They are very common and harmless, rarely causing any pain or discomfort. Most NHS Services now see the removal of skintags as a ‘Procedure of Limited Clinical Value’ and therefore patients are finding it difficult to access.

Cyst Removal

A skin cyst is a fluid-filled bump lying underneath the skin. They are very common and usually harmless. Although they are harmless, they can often appear in visible places on your body causing patients to want them to be removed. Most NHS Services now see the removal of cysts as a ‘Procedure of Limited Clinical Value’ and therefore patients are finding it difficult to access them.

Mole Removal

Although moles are usually harmless, they can often be unsightly to those who have them.
It is important to check changes in moles such as size, colour and shape as this can indicate skin cancer. On removal, if a mole is suspicious in appearance, we can undertake analysis.

Warts are caused by infection with a type of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and are small lumps that develop on the skin.
Verruca is also a type of wart that affect the bottom of the feet.
Warts are highly contagious; the best prevention is to treat them as soon as possible to avoid them spreading to other areas or people.
