Dr Elizabeth Arnold is an experienced GP with a special interest in menopause treatment. She is the lead clinician in Summerfield Healthcare’s menopause clinic and is qualified to advise on all aspects of lifestyle medicine as a CHIP (Complete Health Improvement Program) facilitator. Dr Arnold is passionate about helping women through what is a difficult and sensitive time.
Dr Arnold obtained her primary medical qualification (MBChB) in Cardiff in 1998 and became a GP in 2003 (MRCGP). Since 2005 Dr Arnold has been a GP partner in a busy South Wales GP practice and has developed her clinical interest in the menopause through her experience as a GP as well as postgraduate diplomas and courses.
In addition to completing postgraduate diplomas such as DRCOG (Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and DFFP (Faculty of Family Planning), Dr Arnold is a member of the British Menopause Society, completing courses such as Confidence in Menopause (2021).
Outside of work, Dr. Arnold is a mum to two girls who keep her busy. She enjoys keeping active and going for hikes, as well as taking part in hot yoga, swimming and body boarding. She also enjoys exploring new places abroad on family holidays, and going to the theatre, gigs and concerts.
