Dr Nawaid Ahmad
Respiratory and General Medicine Consultant
Dr Nawaid Ahmad is a Consultant Resipiratory Physician specialising in Diagnoses of Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis and a sleep diagnostic assessment consultation service. As well as his Private Practice at Summerfield Healthcare he is currently appointed as a consultant at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS trust.

Dr Nadeem Akhtar
Dr Nadeem Akhtar is a Neurologist based in the Midlands. As well as his own respected practice he has worked with many experienced Neurologists in various teaching University Hospitals and major Neurology centres in the UK including London, Bristol, Nottingham, Stoke on Trent, and Coventry.
Based on this clinical experience, he has written articles to simplify various aspects of clinical diagnosis of neurological conditions whilst introducing the new concept of neurology equations.

Dr Askari is experienced in the diagnosis and management of rheumatic conditions.

Wendy qualified as a dietitian in 2004 and has since completed over 15 years working for the NHS.
Wendy has the rare ability within dietetics to be able to advise within both paediatrics and adult dietary issues.

Dr Chandrashekar Basavaraj
A consultant psychiatrist on the GMC specialist register in old age psychiatry Dr Chandrashekar Basavaraj has special recognition of his experience in dealing with mental illness in the elderly admitted on medical/surgical wards (Liaison Old Age Psychiatry endorsement). Dr Basavaraj works in Cwm Taf University Health Board in South Wales and teaches/trains junior doctors and medical students locally (Cardiff university).
Dr Basavaraj has mastered specialist skills in assessment, diagnosis and medication treatment of dementia, anxiety, depression, phobias and psychotic disorders in the elderly. His approach towards assessing older people is friendly and open. Due to the lack of information and taboo associated with mental illness and dementia Dr Basavaraj believes in a collaborative environment, allowing carers sufficient time to ask questions and express concerns during assessments.
Dr Basavaraj is approved under Section 12(2) of the mental health act 1983 as having special experience in assessment and management of mental disorders. He carries out fitness to drive assessments in conjunction with a psychologist and makes recommendations to DVLA regarding a person’s fitness to drive post diagnosis of dementia. Dr Basavaraj prepares Court of Protection (COP3) documents enabling patients to identify and formalise a Power of Attorney to make decisions about their finances and health.
Dr John Biddulph
Autism Assessment Specialist
Dr Biddulph adheres to the guidelines issued by NICE regarding diagnosis of autism. He is able to offer diagnostic services for both children and adults in a sensitive, supportive and comprehensive diagnostic assessment process.
For the past 14 years he has been a freelance autism consultant and trainer.
Dr Biddulph is a visiting tutor for a Postgraduate Certificate course in Asperger Syndrome run jointly by the NAS and Sheffield Hallam University and an undergraduate course in Psychology.
He is an external examiner for PhD studies in autism.

Dr Andrew Cowley
General Paediatric Consultant
Andrew Cowley is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics joining in 2001. He specialises in all aspects of general paediatrics and looks after children with a variety of general paediatric problems, including respiratory, gastroenterology, allergy , neurology and cardiology complaints.
As well as seeing private patients Dr Cowley is currently a General Paediatric Consultant at the Women and Children's centre in Telford (SATH NHS Trust) a post he took up in 2007, caring for children 4 weeks to 18 years old. Mr Andrew Garnham
Consultant Vascular and General Surgeon
Mr Andrew Garnham qualified from the Welsh National School of Medicine in 1988. He became a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in 2000, working from New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. Specialising in vascular and general procedures, his surgical interests include varicose veins, thoracic outlet and arterial surgery, as well as non-scalpel vasectomies.
At Summerfield Healthcare Mr Garnham provides regular vasectomy clinics and sclerotherapy treatments for vascular patients.
Mr Garnham is a member of the Vascular Society and West Midlands Surgical Society. He has also contributed to national trials on aortic stenting and angioplasty and is currently the West Midlands Vascular Training Programme Director.

Dr Srinivas Parapelli
Dr Srinivas Parapelli is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician who has undertaken additional neurology training to assess and manage children with headaches, fainting episodes, fits and funny turns. He is the lead for Paediatric epilepsy for Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust.
His paediatric training took place at District General Hospitals including university hospital of North Staffordshire and Peterborough Hospital and Tertiary teaching hospitals, including Addenbrooke’s, Leicester Royal Infirmary Hospital.
Prior to moving to the UK in 2002 Dr Parapelli worked in Paediatrics in India for 6 years, developing his clinical knowledge base. Working abroad has given him a wide clinical exposure.
